De Motorola GP340 portofoon is een van de nieuwe portofoons van de Waris familie. De Motorola GP340 heeft 16 kanalen en een volledige kanaalscheiding, te weten : 12,5/20/25 KHz. De GP340 heeft een verscheidenheid aan functies o.a. Lone Worker, verschillende vormen van toonontvangers, toonzender met of zonder bevestiging, privacy, onderbandtoon, Scan, VOX, fluistermode en speciale ruisonderdrukker. In de GP340 kan als optie een spraakgeheugenboard worden ingebouwd. De gebruiker kan dan berichten opnemen en de portofoon als dictafoon gebruiken (max. 2 minuten). Middels de accessoire connector kan een afstandsbediening, spreekgarnituur of headset worden aangesloten. De behuizing is uit zeer robuust kunststof vervaardigd, waardoor de portofoon voldoet aan IP54 norm (Spatwaterdicht en stofdicht) en aan de Military Standard 810 C/D/E.

De TK2140-TK3140 heeft 250 kanalen met beperkt toetsenbord en ondersteunt alle piloottoon frequenties en verschillende select 5 toonsystemen. Een duidelijk display geeft de status van de portofoon weer o.a. het huidige kanaal, naam of statustekst uit geheugen of numerieke uitlezing van de ontvangen code enz. De TK2140 en TK3140 kan "on air" worden geblokkeerd of worden gedeblokkeerd en zelfs de programmering kan worden verwijderd. De nieuwe Kenwood portofoons ondersteunen een verscheidenheid aan functies zoals uitlezen van de ontvangen code, opslaan van de ontvangen code, verzenden van een tooncode of statustooncode uit geheugen. De functie van de toetsen kan vrij worden gekozen waardoor de flexibiliteit alleen maar toeneemt. Op de accessoire connector kunnen verschillende accessoires worden aangesloten zoals een afstandsbediening met twee oproeptoetsen, headsets en een spreekgarnituur. De behuizing is uit zeer robuust kunststof vervaardigd waardoor deze portofoon voldoet aan IP54 (Spatwaterdicht en stofdicht) en aan de Military Standard 810 C/D/E.

On the rear, the Speaker Mike is equipped with a 360° "easy fix" rotatable clothing clip.
